In April 2012 I organised a walk from Southwark to Canterbury on the 625th anniversary of the pilgrimage in Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales. 

Twenty four literary pilgrims walked 65 miles over four days and stayed in the original medieval stopover towns. Along the way each pilgrim told one of Chaucer’s stories. We raised over £10,000 for the National Literacy Trust. I organised a second Canterbury pilgrimage in April 2013; click here for more information.
